player in high school. A left hander, whose numbers improved all four

as a Terp. Provided Maryland with a physical scoring presence inside,
Evers
was never shy about taking his shots. His father was President of the
NAACP
for a period time. Evers spent one year with the Sacramento Kings
after
being their second round draft pick.
