Bio: The Terps second LaRon from Delaware. Redshirted in 1996-1997 after qualifying late. Bad legs limited LaRon to primarily mop up duty. Rumored to be considering transferring after his sophomore season, Cephas remained at Maryland and ended up being a captain on the 2002 final four team. Very popular with teammates and fans, LaRon was valuable in the locker room and as a practice player. Earned his degree and has played some pro ball overseas.

Tragically, LaRon passed away suddenly in 2007.
