Bio:
Calvin came to Maryland on a football scholarship from Orlando
where be played both football and basketball. McCall's long dreadlocks,
which he eventually cut, made him easy to identify. He started at
quarterback as a redshirt freshman and led the Terp to a 5-2 start before
breaking his ankle against NC State and missing the remainder of the season.
Once the ankle healed, he joined the basketball team as a reserve swingman
and saw his first action on December 30th against UMBC. In only Calvin's
second game he had 8 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in 17 minutes against
Coastal Carolina. ...More

game until his senior season.
Calvin played both football and basketball again his sophomore season. On
the football field he split QB duties with Shaun Hill, but lost interest in
football and put his interest into basketball full time after the 2000
football season. In basketball Calvin came off the bench in both the final
four and national championship season . In a blow out against FSU on
February 27, 2002 Calvin had ten points in only six minutes. With Bryon
Mouton graduated, Calvin split the small forward job with Nik Caner-Medley
as a senior for the 2002-2003 campaign. McCall started 14 games and score
in double figures three times. By his senior season, Calvin was a strong
defensive player and a threat from long range.
Calvin has returned to Orlando where is currently coaching high school
basketball.
